Our story
Tejam means radiance. Essentia means what remains when everything else is removed.
We are a small skincare house from Tamil Nadu, making Ayurvedic formulations, cold-processed soaps and herbal wellness blends the slow way, for people who read the label.
How it began
A counter, a copper pot and a lot of patience.
Tejam Essentia started behind the counter of our family store, where customers kept asking for the soap our grandmother made at home. We made a batch. It sold out in a day. Then another. Sixty-four herbs later, here we are.
Today the store still exists, and everything we sell online is the very same batch. Our staff can see your order the moment you place it, and they pack it by hand.

Every formula starts with a classical text and ends with a modern lab test. Nothing in between is rushed.
Nothing you can't pronounce
No parabens, sulphates, mineral oil or synthetic fragrance. If it isn't from a plant, a mineral or a goat, it isn't in the jar.

We began as a single shop in Tamil Nadu. Everything online is the same batch you'd buy across our counter.
